Very rare Danish Modern Easy Chairs, Model 1982 by Ole Schjøll for Alta Form, originally purchased at Design Selections International, New York, NY. See photo of original tear sheet.

Photo of chair grouping including these chairs, and the following quoted text are from the 'Sight Unseen' website.

From the book titled Scandinavian Design Gallery (1987): “Danish furniture design doesn’t rest on its laurels, but faces the classical challenges arising from a new age and its altered structures. Those challenges are more than met by Alta Form, which won attention with a collection of advanced models designed by a number of architects. Table and chairs with turned legs by Mogens Andersen; stacking stool and arch chair by Ole Schjøll.”

Replacement cushions are newly made, and are a close replica to the original cushions which were missing. Upholstered in a toffee linen-blend fabric.

These chairs are very sturdy and very comfortable. They have an ideal seat angle. White paint is slightly worn on the edges, and there is some minor scuff wear to the frame. Truly unique and special.
